How we do this job
Operator computer hard-bound to one pad. Clock in, chassis plate, WI, pass.
- This PC is /station/S1 through /station/S11. Loop stays the leads overview.
- Clock in. Your name stays on the screen. Break and clock-out keep the mid-station chair and checklist.
- Check in the chassis plate only. Cart ID (SM10-) is not the chair. Wrong plate locks out.
- Tick the work instruction. Checks persist for this WO + station. N/A pads are labor-only — no fake parts list.
- Pass queues the next pad. They scan the plate to take the chair so it does not vanish.
- Andon types: parts, tool, quality, supervisor. Physical ≠ system is STOP to the supervisor — qty is not adjusted. QC fail is QA HOLD, not pass-anyway.
